Sis, another woman who does something similar to you is NOT competition. You may be in the same market as someone, but your NICHE is what keeps you unique. The more time you concentrate on what someone else is doing, the less dollars you make for you!
Some are lessons - others are blessings. Instead of looking at someone as competition, think on these things.
We live in a trillion dollar society, so there is plenty of money to be made by everyone who has a business or an idea. What will keep you relevant and in business is how you market yourself, how you treat your customers, and the level of quality you provide in your products. Coming for someone or making subtle posts about someone else's business on social media will not garner any additional likes or support. This level of petty will actually cost you future customers because you will be seen as someone who cannot handle "competition."
Lydia knew that she was the original girl boss, and conducted her life and business dealings as such. She wasn't afraid of what someone else was doing or if there was a similar business out there. The people flocked to her because she offered a rare and beautiful product with a genuine, giving heart with it. As a result, she did not have to worry about customers or money.
Sis, the only person that is your competition is yesterday's YOU. Your only job is to be better today than you were yesterday.
Stay focused on your dollars and your brand sis!
