When adversity, trials and tribulation comes, use that as a time to be restored, renewed and refreshed. What the enemy may mean for evil, God will turn it around for your good. Keep your bucket full.
July 14, 2021 - a day that I will never forget...
My husband called me at work to inform me that our son was in a terrible accident and was on life support. His prognosis looked grim and he needed to get on the road to see him immediately. I packed my husband’s clothes and he along with a good friend went to see about our son. We have been on the road for the last few months seeing our son and making sure he is okay and taken care of. Needless to say, adjustments had to be made and shifts in plans were done. We were set back on many areas, but a setback is nothing more than preparation for a major comeback in the eyes of God. So, I wait on God to do whatever He plans to do. I continue with this test in hopes of passing it with flying colors.
The Lord allowed me to have some downtime while we were on the road, which gave me opportunity to seek Him and to put plans on paper. Even in the midst of trials and adversity, God still wanted my undivided attention and I gave it to Him. Those quiet moments with God and me are ones I will treasure for the rest of my life.
Lydia, life is filled with so much stuff right now. you may not know if you are coming or going. I encourage you to look to the hills from whence comes your help. Seek God for renewal, revival and to be refreshed in your season. Hear what God wants you to do in terms of your purpose and vision for your life. You will be surprised where He want to take you.
Our son is doing much better! He is on the road to recovery. Thank you to everyone who prayed with and for us, gave us monetary support, and was there for us during our difficult season. Thank you also to those who maybe did not know what to do or did not feel they needed to do anything for us. I appreciate everyone for God has shown me my true tribe. The transition period has been real, but I am thankful that I am becoming better.
