Deonna Moore Taylor is a bestselling author, award-winning professional and motivational speaker, executive consultant, and certified Life and Mindfulness Coach Practitioner. Deonna has consulted, delivered training solutions and worked with Fortune 500 companies, colleges, government and non-profit organizations. Her professional portfolio is extensive and diverse.
Deonna is the Founder and President of Taylored Moore Consulting, a full-service Professional Development Consulting Firm concentrating in Ministry Training and Consulting that offers services in the areas of Organizational Leadership Development, Ministry Establishment, Church Revitalization, Board organization and formation, and Emotional Intelligence training within the Church body. She is also founder and establishmentarian of The Lydia Leader Project, an organization for women and girls in ministry and business to help them develop confidence in communication and leadership. Deonna is a philanthropist and community advocate, and gives her time and resources to causes such as AIDS awareness, Domestic Violence, Equity in Healthcare and Child Poverty and Abuse.
Deonna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Counseling at Grace Biblical Institute and Seminary, graduating Summa Cum Laude with High Academic Honors (She was #2 in her class), and a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling and Leadership at Zoe Fellowship Bible College, Summa Cum Laude. Deonna will graduate with a Doctorate in Counseling and Education Leadership from Zoe Fellowship Bible College in May, 2024. In addition to being a licensed Mental Health Specialist and Coach, Deonna holds several licenses and practitioner certifications in the areas of Life Coaching, Emotional Intelligence, Grief Counseling, Project Management, Learning and Development, Information Technology, and Human Services. She also attended The University of Akron, Case Western Reserve University – Weatherhead School of Management, and Moody Bible Institute.
In addition to serving on several boards throughout the country, Deonna is a member of several organizations including Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Top Ladies of Distinction and Order of Eastern Star. She is also a 15-year member of Toastmasters International, where she served as the second woman of color District Director for District 10 (2012-2013), and is an eight-time minted Distinguished Toastmaster, the highest educational award a Toastmaster can receive. Deonna was awarded 2017 Toastmaster of the Year, 2016 Division Director of the Year, and several District Director Awards. She is also included in the 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2023 editions of Who’s Who in Black Cleveland, received the 2021 Stiletto Boss Award for Entrepreneurialism, was inducted into the Kaleidoscope Magazine’s Forty/40 Club in 2014, and has received other notable awards from several local and national organizations.
A lifelong Northeast Ohioan, Deonna is married to Mr. Lenard T. Taylor, and is the mother to two bonus sons, Jacob and Asa.
